What is soy wax?

Soy wax is a vegetable based product which is grown from soy beans, making it renewable and sustainable. We also like soy wax as it burns cleanly and slowly, making it great to use in candles and wax melts. Here at Beatific, we omit preservatives to keep our process as natural as possible.

Are your candles and wax melts vegan?

Yes, and this is incredibly important to us. All of our products (and their ingredients) are vegan; they contain no animal byproducts and are not tested on animals, and never will be.

What is tunneling?

Wax has memory, so if it’s not burnt for long enough the first time, it will cause the wax to go straight down, like a tunnel, and not melt to the edges. Once tunneling starts, it’s difficult to get it to melt to the edge again and can effect how the candle burns. However, a small amount of exess wax around the edge is normal, as this will melt off the when the candle is around half way burnt.

There is wax left in my wax warmer, but no smell is coming from it?

Each of our wax melt cubes lasts between 2 to 4 hours of continuous depending on the fragrance, and whether or not a conventional warmer with a tealight or an electric warmer is used.

A wax warmer operates at a lower temperature than a candle, therefore the wax does not get hot enough to burn off. However, the fragrance oil in the wax evaporates at a lower temperature.
 
You will always have left over wax with wax melts and a warmer.

What is the best way to clean out the wax in my wax warmer?

Let the wax cool and resolidify. Then once cooled, warm the wax slightly until you can dislodge the solid wax. Once removed clean the warmer with some paper towel, just be careful to make sure it’s cool enough to handle first.

My delivery was damaged! What do I do now?

If your order is damaged, please send us a photo and your details. We will ask you to return the product, unused in it’s original condition within 14 days for a full refund (excluding postage prices).

What are your delivery options?

We currently only ship to UK Mainland, using Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class delivery. For more information visit our Delivery page. If you spend over £30 on a single order you will qualify for free shipping!

How long will my order take to dispatch?

We will always aim to dispatch your order within 1 working day, however due to the handmade nature of our products, this may take a little bit longer. If this is the case, we will let you know and discuss the options with you!
